Uran Snyder was born and grew up in Japan. She was named Uran after Uranium, which is the main ingredient for the Atomic bomb.  It was her parents' wish for her to help bring Peace on Earth.

 She is a peace representative for the World Peace Prayer Society and active in spreading the phrase, "May Peace prevail on Earth," to many.  She also has conducted many flag ceremonies and planted the peace poles.
